Obtains her Bachelor in Architecture degree from UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL PEDRO HENRIQUEZ URENA (UNPHU) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 1998 and then a Masters in Architecture degree from UNIVERSIDAD POLITECNICA DE CATALUÑA in Barcelona, Spain 2000.
Lashmi joined Selman Arquitectos as a Project Architect in December 2006. Since then she has worked in the most important Interior Design projects of the firm and in the hospitality area, particularly in HOTEL CASA DE CAMPO, PUNTA CANA'S PLAYA BLANCA and on the ROYALTON HOTEL in Bávaro, amongst others. Because of her great managerial and coordination skills she has been in command of many of the firms works as Architect-in-charge or as Project Manager. Previous work experiences include an involvement in a 500-key hotel design and supervision in the Bayahibe area of La Romana, Dominican Republic.
